Evan Bartlett joined Monarch as Vice President of Corporate Development in 2024. In this role, Evan advises the executive team and executes on growth and diversification strategies, primarily through partnerships and acquisitions.
Evan leverages his experiences across private equity, investment banking, and operational finance to bring a rounded perspective to conversations with founders and entrepreneurs who have built a lasting legacy in the industry and are seeking the next step for their families and employees.
Prior to joining Monarch, Evan spent three years with Audax Private Equity in San Francisco, gaining exposure to corporate strategy and operations across a variety of companies and industries, while also working closely with Monarch’s leadership team. In 2023, Evan spent six months serving as Monarch’s interim M&A leader, prior to formally joining the team full-time. Evan spent the prior years in investment banking with Focal Point Partners in Los Angeles, partnering with founders and entrepreneurs of service-driven companies, and in FP&A at Coolsys, focused primarily on operational finance and analysis.
Originally from the East Coast (Massachusetts and South Carolina), Evan credits his upbringing for shaping his values of partnership, integrity, and care. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University. Now based in Los Angeles with his girlfriend of ten years, Sydney, Evan enjoys golf, traveling, and exploring unique restaurant sand the experiences they bring—sharing meals, connecting with others, and creating lasting memories.
