In a few short years, Rick has developed Monarch Tree Services into a thriving business that spans three states and employs over 60 people and counting. This impressive growth streak is nothing new for Rick. He started his own business 25 years ago, hired his first employee when he was 13, made his first acquisition at the age of 19, and sold this business, which he had grown into a 3 million-dollar enterprise, all before graduating from college. From there, Rick would travel the country, building his expertise and quickly climbing the ranks at top regional landscape companies. Rick's greatest passion is developing future leaders in the tree care industry, making him one of Monarch's most sought after managers to work for. He goes above and beyond to keep his team educated and safe; from bringing in world renowned experts, outfitting his climbers with the latest gear, and providing education assistance for industry classes and certifications.
